The marquee gets transformed into a number of different themed areas from Pirates and Princesses to Narnia or Aladdin’s Palace. Within each area there are all sorts of fun and games to get involved in, such as mask making, face painting or story time.
The large clearspan main room lends itself perfectly to this event along with the ability to extend the garden onto the cricket pitch, making way for F1 cars, Police horses and a petting zoo, to name but a few.
The built-in PA system and AV package also made it easy and effective to gather everyone back together at the end of the day ready for the big finale, in year one we had a High School Musical performance and in year two a performance from Danielle Hope, the winner of BBC1’s talent show Over the Rainbow. A great way to round off a fantastic day and give the children and their families a well-earned break from the difficulties they face on a daily basis.
