Where to celebrate Halloween
Looking for some amazing places to celebrate Halloween 2017? Here are some of our favourite – ranging from underground party dens to late-evening museum openings.
Halloween Raveyard, The Vaults at Waterloo
What could be more quintessentially Halloween than an underground Victorian venue? The Halloween Raveyard in Waterloo is guaranteed to give you the chills as you make your zombie moves to heart-wrenching cabaret and a deadly DJ.
Museums at Night
Taking place from 26th to 28th October, the Museum at Nights exhibition enables you to visit some of London’s most famous museums and galleries until late evening. Look forward to terrifying workshops and torch-lit tours, take part in a medieval ‘ye olde tavern quiz’ at the Museum of the Order of St John’s near Farringdon on 26th October, or learn about the skeletons buried beneath Benjamin Franklin House near Charing Cross on 28th October
Other highlights include a Venetian culture exhibition at the Queen’s Gallery of Buckingham Palace on 26th October and an after-dark narrow-boat trip in the Islington Tunnel at the London Canal Museum from 28th to 29th October.
Sparkling Pumpkin Carving
Head to Drink, Shop & Do at King’s Cross on 31st October (and other dates earlier in the month) for its spectacular annual pumpkin carving, which will also be attended by the famous champagne brand Veuve Clicquot. They will be telling fascinating stories about the lady who ran the company in Victorian times, Madame Clicquot.
Halloween at the Candlelight Club
On Saturday Oct 28th October, head to this grand clandestine venue for a stunning ball with excellent live entertainment including jazz, cabaret, comedy and dapper juggling. This 1920’s-themed venue, lit entirely by candles, is held at a secret location, and ticket holders will receive details of the address and directions two days before the event (via e-mail).
The Silent Halloween Party
Something different. Head to the Silent Disco Boat on Friday 27th October for a spooky-silent party on the Thames, and see some of London’s most iconic landmarks. Dance for hours with your creepy friends to the latest big dance floor tunes and classics – as well as plenty of hardcore Halloween hits!
We hope you enjoy Halloween whatever you do, if you’re planning further ahead get in touch to see how we can help you with your event.
